I’ve always had a love of food and entertaining; it’s something I learned early on and have carried with me throughout my life. When I returned home to NYC, after many years away in California working in the Film Industry, I decided it was time for a change and spent a lot of time cooking, exploring and deciding what I wanted “to do” next. I always believed that cooking was the best therapy! What began as a hobby cooking for friends and family, turned into a burgeoning catering business as word of my Latin infused, home-grown events spread. Cut to a few years later and I was convinced by friends, family and clients that it was time to expand and open a restaurant. In 2008, deep on the Lower East Side, A Casa Fox was born! This past year, after over a decade of feeding restaurant goers and leading food critics from New York Magazine, Travel & Leisure and Michelin, I closed the restaurant and decided to return to my love of Catering full time. Having perfected my Latin and Nicaraguan delicacies at the Lower East Side location, my staff and I now direct all our attention to bringing my signature style and culinary delights to homes, offices and private venues everywhere. And all while we develop a line of Prepared Foods + Sauces to be distributed and sold everywhere – many of which you can sample by ordering directly from us, right here!
